Double Chamber Foot Air Splint

The Urias® Double Chamber Foot Air Splint is a specialized aid designed to stabilize the foot and ankle during the latter stages of neuro-rehabilitation. It assists in correcting gait abnormalities such as foot inversion or eversion, commonly observed in conditions like stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, or head injury.

Key Features:

• Dual-Chamber Design: Allows for targeted pressure application. For an inverted (dragging) foot, inflate the lateral chamber first, followed by slight inflation of the medial chamber. For excessive eversion, inflate the medial chamber first, then slightly inflate the lateral chamber.
• Non-Inflated Sole: Facilitates flat walking, promoting a more natural gait pattern.
• Indoor Use: Specifically designed for indoor environments.
• Subconscious Gait Correction: Wearing the splint encourages the patient to lift the foot off the ground, aiding in the development of a correct walking pattern.
