This mobile phototherapy system is equipped with eight 100 watt UV fluorescent tubes, with either narrow-band UVB (311 nm) or UVA. Additionally, a reflector made of polished, high-purity aluminium, increases the efficiency of the device. For an increased longevity of the fluorescent tubes, only gentle electronic starters are used.

Better safe than sorry

To prevent use by unauthorised persons, the device can be put into operation only via a key switch. The modern controller allows individual presetting of dose limits, according to customer preference. The risk of overdosing, e.g. due to incorrect user input, can thus be significantly reduced. To prevent damage to UV tubes, and to protect the user against injuries in case of glass breakage, the radiation field is covered with a transparent acrylic plate.

Comfort design

Due to the optimised design of the device, the tubes are positioned far down, resulting in significantly improved therapy results for the lower legs. The large rubberised lockable castors simplify the handling and transportation during daily use. For storage of accessories, such as goggles, the lid of the device has inset pockets. Making it easy to keep things tidy and at hand. Even the assembly of the device is extremely easy due to a plug-in system, tools are not required, and there are no screws, nuts or bolts to be lost.
